Teachers are not the problem. Unions are not the problem. Tenure is not the problem. No the problem is people are too quick to want to blame teachers. Politicians love using teachers as a way to get votes. Then they leave us all behind as soon as they get elected. We know this same old song and dance well enough.

Well this year parents, as school begins, remember that almost all teachers care and love children. They work hard, and not only as teachers but also as proxy parents. Teachers are now having to do more and more parenting duties, because so many parents can't or won't do their jobs. Support your child's teacher, they need it and deserve it!
